Examiner:
PD Dr. Helmar Gust
Assessor:
Prof. Dr. Kai-Uwe Kühnberger

My examination topics:
- Machine Learning
- Search
- CSPs

My paper: http://www.aaai.org/ojs/index.php/aimagazine/article/viewArticle/1763

After presenting my paper (was supposed to take 15 minutes, took me 25) I was asked following questions (listing as many as I can remember, paraphrasing):

- Importance of incremental search for Cognitive Science [CS]
- Overview over the topic of machine learning
- Differences of decision trees and high dimensional feature spaces and their importance for CS
- Explain idea of ID3 algorithm

Final question, off topic:
- Idea/algorithm how to model spatial relations (one answer is the double cross algorithm)

Even PD Dr. Helmar Gust was the examiner nearly all question (but the last one) were asked by Prof. Dr. Kai-Uwe Kühnberger

Like always, preparing/presenting your paper well is far more important than being able to answer the questions perfectly.
